Holly Patterson
Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist
QUALIFICATIONS: MSc, BSc (Hons), MCSP, MACPRC
Holly joins the Air Physiotherapy team with 10 years of experience, 6 of which have specialised in the care of respiratory patients. She moved to London from the North of England to work for The Royal Brompton Hospital as a highly specialist respiratory physiotherapist. Here she worked in both the inpatient and outpatients teams, treating patients with long term respiratory conditions including Bronchiectasis, ILD, dysfunctional breathing, complex asthma and upper airway disorders (such as induced laryngeal obstruction and large airways collapse).
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Holly worked on the front line within the covid intensive care at The Royal London Hospital, supporting patients from ventilator to home. She has continued to work for Bart’s Health as a Team Lead Physiotherapist in Specialist Medicine and treats patients with long term respiratory and cardiac conditions, alongside those struggling with the symptoms of long covid.
Holly has presented work on the importance of physical activity in those with long term conditions at national conference. Alongside this she has provided education on the use of nebuliser therapies at national showcase.
Holly runs evening clinics at Air Physiotherapy both virtually and face to face. Please note she is currently on maternity leave.
