It’s been quite the year at Air Physiotherapy – looking back at how the practice has evolved over the last 12 months is an incredibly rewarding and humbling exercise, and we’re so proud of how much the team has achieved.
We expanded outside of London into Sussex in 2022
From the end of September we began offering face to face appointments for respiratory physiotherapy in Sussex.
It was our first new location outside of London, delivering our specialist services from Radius Healthcare in Hove, Brighton, with the lovely Helene at the helm. The service has been so well received that we are looking to expand the team in 2023.
Expanded home visits
Air Physiotherapy has offered a home visit service from the very beginning when we opened in 2018, but thanks to expanding our team of respiratory physiotherapists in the latter part of the year, we are now able to offer an enhanced home visits service across a much wider area than ever before.
We’re so delighted we can now support even more people who need our help!
Enhanced service at UNTIL
Karen has been with us here at Air Physiotherapy since the early days and has now taken on an even bigger role, moving away from home visits and taking on the responsibility of running and helping manage our respiratory physiotherapy clinic at UNTIL.
This new location at UNTIL has opened up the ability for us to offer an even better service thanks to their incredible facilities – a 3,000 square foot gym, postural analysis lab, luxury treatment rooms, and access to a wealth of other healthcare professionals. All of this is delivered under one roof meaning we can delve deeper into what the patient wants and even more importantly, what they need and treat it.
More respiratory physiotherapists
We began 2022 with a team of 6 physios treating the wide range of respiratory conditions we see every day. The team has grown exponentially over the last year, but one common thread remains the same throughout: every member of the team has extensive experience in the respiratory field and have specialised in the respiratory system to help those with breathing conditions.
Each physiotherapist is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Respiratory Care (ACPRC) and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). We will continue to bring new physios on board with the expertise and skills our patients need to improve their health and wellbeing.
Close consultant relationships
We are proud of our close relationships with some of the best cardio-respiratory consultants and healthcare professionals in the world, providing our patients with exceptional access to specialists that will help them regain control of their symptoms.
Thank you to you all…
We’d like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks to all of you
Thank you… to our patients who have placed your trust in us to help you to improve your symptoms, performance and long-term health.
Thank you… to the consultants and health professionals who refer your patients to us, enabling Air Physio to grow and develop our services to where we are today.
Thank you… of course to our wonderful team who are the faces and heart of Air Physio, delivering first-class respiratory physiotherapy and long-covid treatment to our patients up and down the country, and internationally.
We wish you all a very merry Christmas and a healthy, happy 2023.
